The BTBC Main Facility is more than 50,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art office, dry lab, and wet lab space situated on KU’s West Campus among university buildings dedicated to the life sciences, engineering, and multidisciplinary research, among others. It’s unique location, with an abundance of surrounding land yet to be developed, makes it an ideal setting for a University Research and Business Park.
The BTBC Expansion Facility, located in West Lawrence, sits a few miles from the KU campus and offers technology companies 17,500 square feet of office, dry lab and GMP-capable space.
Located in the heart of the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and Hospital System Campus in Kansas City, KS, the KUMC Facility provides 20,000 sq. ft. of lab and office space that affords direct proximity and access to the resources of the KU Medical Center.
Coming soon! Phase III is a 70,000 square foot building directly adjacent to the Main Facility on KU’s West Campus. Expect excellent lab and office space with several new and highly desirable amenities that will begin to build out the core of the emerging Research & Business Park.
The BTBC’s ultimate goal is to continue to grow our footprint in order to develop a full-scale Research & Business Park on KU’s West Campus here in Lawrence, Kansas. It capitalizes on its ideal location where academics, researchers, private industry, government and entrepreneurs are located in close proximity to one another and have access to the vast assets and resources at KU.
