The BTBC Expansion Facility sits three miles from the KU Main and West Campus and offers technology and life sciences companies roughly 20,000 sq. ft. of GMP-capable space. This expansion facility allows private industry to collaborate with the university and sits among several other KU entities, such as KU’s Center for Environmentally Beneficial Catalysis (CEBC), KU Center for Research facility, the Life Sciences Research Laboratories, and KU’s Center for Education Testing & Evaluation.
In addition to being located in close proximity to several KU facilities and areas of research, this facility has close access to both I-70 and K-10. It also sits within the rapidly growing West Lawrence community and is in close geographic proximity to the soon-to-open LMH Health Surgery Center, KU, and the City of Lawrence’s Rock Chalk Park.
