Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins stopped by the Bioscience and Technology Center at the University of Kansas on Tuesday.

Jenkins toured Simcro, an animal health company from New Zealand that creates delivery systems for farm animal drugs. Jenkins said it’s an exciting venture for the Lawrence community.

According to the KC Animal Health Corridor more than 300 animal health companies are located between Columbia, Missouri and Manhattan, Kansas, the largest concentration of those types of businesses in the world.
